The relationship is not exactly 1-to-1 because of the way b64 encoding works: a single character in the b64 string corresponds to 6 bits of data, and a single pixel corresponds to 24 bits of data (8 bits for each of R, G, and B). So characters and pixels are, like, idk the right word… coprime? …for a few characters until you get to the next even multiple. Idk it’s 1am and I’m tired. But that’s roughly correct. ↩
